Sash windows

Sash windows are a traditional part of Kent’s buildings. They have been around for a really long time and some of the unique windows are still in use these days! How is this possible you may ask? The response is MAINTENANCE!!

They must be painted frequently to keep wetness out of the wood. They should be maintained as needed, which includes replacing sash cords, staff and separating beads and pullies.

FineServices can provide all of these solutions as well as changing whole sliders , glass devices and window putty. In case you have rotten sections of timber in the window or the cill our wood workers can cut it out and replace it with a new section of timber .
We can even take out your whole single glazed box unit and change it with a new double glazed unit to keep the warm in your house and the cold and noise out!
